Superior movement

HISTORY

Starting Together

Superior movement is a 5 man singing group that was formed in Lawndale on the West Side of Chicago in the mid 70's. The original members all went to the same high school and were in the choir together at Farragut High School.

They have performed all over the Chicagoland area and at every major venue in the city and the mid-west, including the original Chicagofest and Miller Sound Express.

In the early 80's they were signed to CIM Records with major distribution by Epic records. This resulted in a top 50 single called "WideShot". They are currently doing tribute shows to the Whispers, Temptations and the O'Jays.

Superior Movement is: Billy Avery-David Williams-Stanley Ratliff-Gregory Spears-and Rick Webster
